Caring for Cats is a small non-profit cat rescue and rehoming charity that serves Hull, Beverley, York, Driffield, and the wider Yorkshire and Humber region. We rehome over 450 cats and kittens each year. Each cat and kitten undergoes thorough care, including blood testing for FIV and FeLV, a full veterinary examination, vaccinations, flea and worm treatment, microchipping, and neutering. We also provide four weeks of free insurance, all for a nominal homing fee. All cats and kittens are neutered by our charity before being rehomed. Kittens are returned to us for neutering at 4.5 months, with the costs included in the rehoming fee. We carry out suitability checks to ensure successful adoptions. Caring for Cats also runs a long-term foster program for sick and elderly cats, and we operate with a No-Kill ethic.
